About Our Business
Sanders Services was founded in 1983 by Roy and Lorrie Sanders. Roy was a veteran of
the shipping industry and TWA, and he and Lorrie worked side by side for over 20 years,
building a valuable service and a strong customer loyalty.
Roy passed away in December 2003 and Lorrie retired in November 2004.
The business was then purchased by John and Wendy Barker in November 2004. Thus the new succession of the Sanders Service's prestige was continued until John's passing in April 2007. In November 2007, Wendy Barker presented the torch of the Sanders Services to David and Abigail Honea to pursue Roy's dream of a small company with a big committment to our customers.
David Honea is an experienced Damaged Freight Inspector, with an extensive
background in private investigation, insurance, and business relations, including more than 12 years as an Investigative Technician with the US Army.
Abigail Honea has 12 years experience in business management, human resources
and the consumer financing industry. Her strong customer service skills are honed by her business degree and people relations during her 5 years with a Fortune 100 company.
